Google Ocean..?

-

According some rumors.. Google is releasing a new version of Google Earth? or will presenting a new product rumored to be called "Google Ocean"??

Apparently Google invited a bunch of oceanography experts last December 2007 to discuss creating a 3D oceanographic map. And now, rumors are flying on what might result.

Since they just released the new ocean imagery a week ago, but it sure makes sense.

The power of the Internet and the Web 2.3!

-

The Vision of Barack Obama and the Inauguration was the fuse for the big change and the coming biggest changes. People weren't just sitting back and watching President Barack Obama's inauguration yesterday. They were commenting on Twitter, sharing information on Facebook and turning to Google in significant numbers to find live video and audio of inauguration activities in Washington D.C.

"Live TV shifted from a passive to a social/interactive experience and underscored the power of the internet to deliver video programming to a massive number of users simultaneously." according to Media analyst Rich Greenfield.

The numbers and some of the comments from users should cause traditional video providers-broadcasters and cable systems to reevaluate how they operate in a world where content is available on the web.

CNN and Facebook were the biggest winners in terms of streams served and Starbucks was arguably the biggest winner on the marketing side, as its new video ad aired on CNN.com Live directly after President Obama left the stage.

And this is only the start...

PS: I was reading this article with skepticism. I think that is an old fashion article. I think that IT and general technology helps Obama's point of view and his vision. But opposite, this and this article are the real future written in a article.

Google Earth Obama Inauguration in 3D

-

A Googler has created a 3D model for Google Earth which shows a mock-up of the inauguration stage and ads flags to the US Capitol building. Not only that, but if you zoom in close you can see Obama taking the oath in the center of the stage.

I'm not American..I'm Greek.

But, i think that Barack is "The Future of Humanity" and not the Future of America. Why??..

In the world of revolution, of Citizen Journalism, Social communities etc.., Barack is The "Citizen President", the "Open" President, the Innnovator, the Techno-President, the Social President.

Me and all the VIT* people all over the world are supporters of Barack. Why?? (..to be continued)
